Chuck Petrusha, President and CEO
 
Chuck, President of Advanced Security Systems since 1995.  With over 30 years of industry history and knowledge coupled with an entrepreneurial spirit has helped make Advanced Security Systems one of Northern California's most respected providers of Security, Fire, and Medical Alert Systems. 
 
Chuck is a civic leader, serving as past President of Old Town Rotary Club of Eureka, past Vice President of the Humboldt Builders Exchange, current board member of the Humboldt State University Area Foundation, current regional board member of Umpqua Bank, board member of St. Bernard's Church, Salvation Army, and coach of various children's sports teams.  
 
Rick Petrusha, Executive Vice President and General Manager
 
Rick, Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Eureka Division.  With over 30 years of industry experience, the knowledge of technical and managerial skills is invaluable to the company.  
 
Rick specifies products, trains technical staff and coordinates large scale installations.  He is an AutoCAD certified draftsperson for fire alarm design.  Rick holds the distinction of NICET II Fire Alarm Technician and is a registered Fire Lite Safety Technician with the Sate of California, and is a Certified Instructor for the National Burglar and Fire Alarm Association.
 
As a community leader, Rick has served as Lieutenant Governor of Division 20 Kiwanis and past President of the Henderson Kiwanis of Eureka.  
 
Ian Schatz, Operations Manager
 
Ian Schatz, Corporation Operations Manger.  With over 20 years experience in the technical field, Ian brings a depth a knowledge to the Advanced Security Systems family. 
 
Ian manage our local 24-hour Central Monitoring Station; coordinating staff, software upgrades, and implementing standard operating procedures.  He also oversees all special projects, field training, and office staff.
 
Ian enjoys his time participating in the local thespian community with his daughter and coaching soccer.   
 
Jim Summers, General Manager, Santa Rosa
 
Jim Summers, General Manager for the Santa Rosa area has been in the alarm industry for over 17 years.  Jim has been with Advanced Security Systems for over 15 years, advancing from Wire Puller to General Manager. 
 
Jim manages large and small scale jobs from start to finish, from meeting a potential customer explaining their security options to the final installation and test.  The best part of the job for Jim is the opportunity to see the advancements in technology. 
 
Jim enjoys spending his time on the football field with his six sons or exploring the wine country. 
 
Blaine Bermers, Security Consultant
 
Blaine, Security Consultant for the Eureka area has over 10 years of experience meeting the needs of customers.  His ability to listen and understand the customer's needs allows for a perfect match between Security System and customer.  Blaine specializes in residential alarms; from new construction to upgrading an existing system.
 
Blaine dedicates much of his time to the community, supporting the Special Olympics, as member of the TOPS club, BNI and always lending a helping hand when needed.
 
Dan Toews, Security Consultant
 
Dan, Security Consultant for the Crescent City, Brookings Harbor area returns to Advanced Security Systems.  With over 15 years experience in the alarm industry, licensed and certified in Oregon and California, Dan offers complete customer satisfaction in the northern California, southern Oregon region.  
 
Dan enjoys being back on the coast, enjoying the weather and scenery.  
 
Tammy Tokarsky, Service Coordinator
 
Tammy, Service Coordinator for all divisions of Advanced Security Systems has been a part of the family since 2009.  Tammy spends her days scheduling service appointments, troubleshooting over the phone, and ensuring all your technical needs are met.

Leila Brown, Human Resources and Bookkeeper    
 
Leila, Human Resources Director and Bookkeeper, has been a part of the Advanced Security Systems family for over six years.  Leila is well versed in all positions within the administration of the office and not only is she able to support her co-workers, but her experience and dedication serves our customers well. 
 
 
 
Misty Schmidt, Installation Coordinator
 
Misty, Installation Coordinator joined the Advanced Security Systems team in October 2011 along with all Superior Alarm Inc. employees.  Misty brings with her a vast knowledge in security systems, be it troubleshooting problems, programming, or explaining how to use your system. 
 
Misty has been married to her husband Steve for eight years and enjoys spending her time with him and their two young daughters, Arianna and Addison.  
 
Melanie Satterlee, Business Development and Promotions
 
Melanie, Business Development and Promotions, spends her time at trade shows, health fairs and anywhere she can work to educate the community on safety and security.  In addition, Melanie manages special projects and anything community service minded.
 
The best part of the job for Melanie is working everyday in an effort to ensure our customers and their loved ones feel safe.  
 
Ann Robison, Receptionist and Accounts Receivable
 
Ann, Receptionist and Accounts Receivable has been with Advanced Security Systems since 2010 and has been an all-around asset to the company.  Always greeting our customers with a welcoming voice whether it be when calling about service or dispatching an alarm signal.
 
Ann enjoys being at the river every chance she gets during the summer months with her husband and two sons.     
 
Colleen O'Sullivan, Business Development
 
Colleen, Business Development, began her tenure with Advanced Security Systems as the Installation Coordinator.  Now, working on a Masters in Sociology, Colleen has shifted her focus to Business Development for Advanced Security Systems working part time as support staff to the administration.
