The medical alarm console contains an electronic receiver connected to a regular telephone line, much like an answering machine. The console is linked to a waterproof wristband or pendant help button. When the button is pushed, the local call response center is contacted immediately.
Highly-trained responders on duty 24/7, make immediate contact through the built-in powerful 2-way speakerphone, evaluate the situation, notify designated emergency contacts, and can dispatch an ambulance or other emergency 911 personnel in seconds.
